The Althop Estate has been busy sowing fields of wild flowers, here at Great Brington. Unfortunately it does not compensate the murder of the hedgerows to the south and east of Earl Spencer's Manor house.
I see many images of poppies at this time of year, but this year there is a beautiful field less than a km from our house.
